The Geekvape Wenax Q2 is a refillable pod kit built around the brand’s Q cartridge platform. It sits in the more compact end of the market: a pocketable device with an OLED screen, adjustable airflow, selectable power and both 2ml TPD and larger non-UK pod references in published specifications.

Core specification

Geekvape Store lists the Wenax Q2 with a 1250mAh battery, 30W maximum output, USB-C 5V/2A charging, a body height of 120.62mm and width of 26.1mm, and compatibility with Q cartridges in 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 ohm resistances. The product page states a pod capacity of 3ml or 2ml for TPD regions.

The listed kit contents include the Wenax Q2 device, two 2ml Q cartridges, a USB-C cable, manual and warning cards. The supplied cartridges are described as a pre-installed 0.8 ohm pod rated 12-18W and a spare 0.6 ohm pod rated 18-25W.

How it is positioned

On paper, this is a step above a fixed-output beginner stick but below a full pod mod. The Q2 keeps the cartridge simple and disposable when the coil is finished, while the device adds useful controls: airflow adjustment, a screen and power selection. That balance may suit adult smokers moving away from single-use vapes who want a refillable kit without replaceable coils, as well as existing vapers who already use Geekvape Q pods.

For UK use, the 2ml pod limit is the important detail. Overseas pages and some reviews may discuss 3ml pods, but nicotine-containing vape tanks and pods sold in the UK are restricted to 2ml. Nicotine e-liquid is also subject to UK limits, including a maximum strength of 20mg/ml for consumer products.

Vaping360’s review describes the Q2 as a compact open-system pod with a large customisable OLED screen, leather panels, a 1250mAh listed battery and adjustable airflow from mouth-to-lung towards restricted direct-lung. The reviewer also reports measured charging and battery observations: a lower real-world charge rate than the headline 2A figure and an estimated usable battery capacity around 1000mAh from their sample.

That does not make the manufacturer specification false; it shows why listed battery capacity and charge ratings are best read as headline specifications rather than guaranteed day-to-day endurance. Usage pattern, wattage, coil resistance and e-liquid all affect how long the device lasts between charges.

The same review reports uneven coil experience in its sample, with the 0.6 ohm pod performing better than one 0.8 ohm pod. That is useful context, but it should not be treated as a universal coil-life promise or warning. vape.blog has not tested a retail UK unit.

Limitations

This review cannot verify flavour, vapour warmth, pod sealing, coil lifespan or long-term durability. Manufacturer claims about smooth performance and materials are product-positioning claims unless supported by independent evidence. Retail listings should also be checked carefully because non-UK pod capacities can appear in international descriptions.

Who it suits

The Wenax Q2 is most likely to suit adult vapers who want a refillable, rechargeable pod with more feedback than a no-screen device, but who still prefer simple cartridges over separate coil changes. The 0.8 and 1.2 ohm Q pods are the likely starting point for a tighter mouth-to-lung draw with 50VG e-liquid; the 0.6 ohm pod is more relevant if a looser, warmer draw is wanted.

It is less suitable for anyone who dislikes screens, wants the fewest possible settings, or needs a very rugged outdoor device. As with any built-in battery vape, charge it with suitable equipment, stop using it if it is damaged, and keep it away from children.
